calenGalgo 27 — making a difference for those who never had a say

How it works

You order now

You donate straight away. That's what allows us to go to print without fronting money the shelters haven't got.

We count the pieces

Your pre-orders tell us the exact quantities, and we order as they come in. No betting on one enormous print run, nothing left unsold in a cellar.

It arrives by Christmas

Parcels go out as soon as the items are ready. Or you collect yours at one of our stalls, at no cost.

What you can receive

Every item has a minimum donation. If you'd like to give more, you'll find a box to tick when you confirm.

Feeling like Father Christmas?

You can simply donate: no gift to choose, no address to write down. It goes to the shelters just like everything else.

Where does the money go?

In Spain, at the end of the hunting season, galgos that are no longer of use are abandoned in their thousands. The shelters that take them in survive on donations alone.

From the donations we receive we take out only the cost of making the items and the postage. All the rest goes to the shelters, and it turns into food, vaccinations, sterilisations and the journey home for the galgos who have found a family.

This isn't a shop.

This is the Pet Levrieri ETS Christmas fundraiser. The amounts you see are donations: to everyone who donates we send, as a thank you, the item they chose. You can always choose to give more: there's a box to tick when you confirm. When the fundraiser closes we'll publish the accounts: the total raised and the net donation to the shelters.

Animales Con Un Nuevo Rumbo

Madrid, Spain

They take in abandoned galgos and podencos, put them back on their feet and find them a family. No public funding: ACUNR lives on donations alone.

Asociación BaasGalgo

Madrid, Spain

For more than ten years BaasGalgo has been giving a fresh chance to mistreated galgos across Spain, and campaigning to stop them being treated as objects to use and then throw away.
